The Utah Children’s Outdoor Recreation and Education (UCORE), UCORE Educator, and Nature-Based Learning Infrastructure Grants provide outdoor recreation and learning experiences to youth in Utah. This funding aims to teach youth the physical skills that can make outdoor recreation part of a healthy and active lifestyle. UCORE complements the state’s Every Kid Outdoors (EKO) Initiative and hopes to provide more opportunities so no child is left inside.

Funding Amounts

• UCORE - Up to $15,000
• UCORE Educator - Up to $15,000
• Nature-Based Learning Infrastructure - Up to $15,000

Eligible Applicants:

• UCORE: Non-profits, local governments (including counties, cities, park & recreation districts, etc.), and tribal governments
• UCORE Educator: Non-profit education institutions, school districts, and formal educators
• Nature-Based Learning Infrastructure: Non-profit educational institutions, local governments (including counties, cities, park & recreation districts, etc.), non-profits, and tribal governments
