Clean Vessel Act Grant
Clean Vessel Act Grant
The Clean Vessel Act (CVA) is a boating recreation grant that is meant to educate recreational boaters about the environmental pollution issues that come from sewage discharges from their vessel and to inform on where to find, use and operate pump/dump stations. Proper disposal of sewage from recreational boats is important in preserving and improving water quality in the country’s vital aquatic ecosystems. The CVA grant program provides funding for the development, operation and maintenance of pump out and dump stations to continue this effort of improving and maintaining our waterways.
