Join us for an inspiring conversation with Dr. Joey Kozlowski as he shares how a UCORE grant from the Utah Division of Outdoor Recreation transformed his 2nd-grade classroom. Discover how a simple set of binoculars became a catalyst for cross-curricular excellence, integrating literacy, math, and science into a cohesive birding program that led to improved student outcomes.
We will also be joined by Eric Newell, administrator at Edith Bowen Lab School, to discuss practical strategies for leaders to fund and sustain outdoor education initiatives.
