National Trails Day with Trails Utah and Pliking

Weβre celebrating American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day by teaming up with Pliking for a morning of trail stewardship and advocacy.
The details:
ποΈ This Saturday, June 7
π 9β11am
π Grandeur Peak (Face) Trailhead β 2900 Wasatch Blvd
π¬ Sign up here (optional, to ensure we have enough supplies): https://forms.monday.com/forms/d04260b209a27c328d8a535928f7be4b?r=use1
Weβll be helping folks clean up the trail and sharing how to speak up for:
– Public access to public lands
– Funding for trail maintenance
– Support for the land managers who make outdoor recreation possible
Come by, lend a hand, and help us leave the trail β and the outdoor community β better than we found it π
What to bring / wear:
– Water (at least one liter)
– Personal snacks (ex, if you have a nut allergy or other dietary limitation)
– Close-toe sneakers or boots with traction
– Clothes appropriate for weather and that you don’t mind getting dirty
– Sunscreen (the sun is strong and can be hot at the start of June!)
– Hat with visor (the sun is also very bright)
– Gloves, if you have them (we’ll have some extras on hand, too)
