Central Utah Ice-Fishing Seminar

Join us for a free seminar where we get you ready to step out onto the ice and into the world of ice fishing!
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is hosting an ice-fishing seminar to get new and beginning ice anglers ready to step onto the ice this season! Our biologists will be cover the basics of ice fishing and share sportfish-species-specific insight into a few central Utah reservoirs. This seminar is a great opportunity for anyone interested in getting into ice fishing, new to ice fishing, or interested in picking up a few tips on targeting specific fish species through the ice.
What to expect:
We will cover the basics of ice fishing including ice safety, winter angler access, equipment, lure selection, fish biology and fishing techniques.
We will cover basic tips to get you started and advice for targeting specific species.
We will discuss a few specific angling opportunities at some sites most likely to get ice this season.
