Arches National Park – National Trails Day Stewardship

Volunteer at Arches National Park to celebrate National Trails Day!

Help us restore impacted ecosystems through invasive Bassia and Russian thistle removal. By volunteering, you’ll also earn free swag and a day pass for the park on June 7th.

Where: Arches National Park (RSVP for exact location)
When: June 7th from 7:30am-10:00am
What to bring: long sleeves + pants, durable close toed shoes, small water bottle/bladder, sun protection
Additional Notes: Prehydrate!
What we’re doing: Removing invasives (bassia and russian thistle)

We’ll provide filled water coolers, gaiters, hand tools, gloves, eye protection

Schedule
7:30 am: Meet Volunteers at designated location (location provided upon RSVP)
7:30-8:00 am: Travel to the site and give instructions & context about the project
8:00-9:30 am: Service period (with time for water breaks)
9:30-10:00 am: Clean up, educational discussion, thank you gifts.
